Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About Your Care at Eden Health RX

Do I need to be in menopause to be seen at Eden Health RX?

No. We see women in perimenopause, menopause, and anyone experiencing hormone imbalance in midlife. Many women notice symptoms years before their final period, and getting support early can make a significant difference in how you feel day-to-day.

Is hormone therapy safe?

When prescribed thoughtfully and monitored by a trained provider, hormone therapy is considered safe and effective for many women. Your medical history, symptoms, and risk factors are always reviewed in detail before any recommendation is made.

Do you accept insurance?

Eden Health RX is a self-pay clinic. This allows for longer, unrushed visits and truly personalized care that isn’t limited by insurance rules or time constraints. A referral is not required to schedule a consultation.

Does Eden Health RX offer pellet therapy?

No. We believe hormone levels should be increased slowly and safely. For some, pellet therapy can raise levels too quickly, leading to side effects that may last for months without the ability to adjust dosing.

What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is centered around understanding your symptoms, history, lifestyle, and goals. If needed, laboratory testing may be ordered. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan designed to support your long-term hormone health and overall well-being.

Are visits in person or virtual?

We offer both. You can be seen in person or choose a secure virtual visit, depending on your needs and treatment plan. Both options provide the same level of attentive, comprehensive care.

Can I be seen without joining a membership?

Yes! Based on availability, we offer a limited number of fee-for-service visits. These visits do not include communication between appointments, but they’re a good option if you’re exploring treatment or only need occasional support.

Why was Eden Health RX created?

Many women know what it feels like to rush through an appointment, leave with unanswered questions, or receive a treatment plan that doesn’t fully match their symptoms. After years of working inside insurance-driven models, Mandy saw how impersonal and restrictive that system can be.

Eden Health RX was created to offer a different kind of experience; one built on time, personalization, evidence-based guidance, and a true partnership in your long-term hormone health.

What Eden Health RX is NOT

Eden Health RX does not replace your primary care provider.

We focus specifically on hormone health, menopause, perimenopause, and related symptoms. Any conditions outside this scope should be evaluated by your primary care provider or an appropriate specialist.

What is a membership with Eden Health RX?

Membership gives you access to ongoing, relationship-centered care that isn’t limited by rushed appointment times or insurance constraints. We intentionally keep our membership panel small, so you receive meaningful attention and consistent follow-up.

Membership includes extended visit times, direct communication, streamlined prescription support, and a care plan that evolves with your hormone journey.

How much does membership cost?

All patients begin with a 60–90 minute initial consultation, which includes a comprehensive assessment and necessary prescriptions. This consultation costs $500 with a $100 deposit, and is the same cost whether or not you choose to join a membership.

After your first visit, you can choose between two membership options with different levels of support. Membership billing begins only when you enroll and can be canceled with a 30-day written notice. Follow-up visits typically last 30–45 minutes.

What does membership include?

Membership provides access to ongoing, consistent support, including:

  • Direct messaging through the patient portal, email, or text.
  • Medication and prescription management
  • Care coordination between visits
  • Prompt responses to day-to-day questions
  • Priority scheduling
  • Telehealth visit options

Every care plan is personalized, whether you’re navigating perimenopause, menopause, symptom changes, or treatment adjustments.

Is membership covered by insurance?

Membership fees are not typically covered by insurance. However, you can still use insurance for:

  • Lab work
  • Imaging
  • Pap smears
  • Specialist visits
  • Prescriptions

If you want to submit an out-of-network claim, we can provide a superbill. Patients are responsible for their own insurance submissions and follow-up correspondence.

Can I be seen without joining a membership?

Yes! We offer a limited number of fee-for-service visits based on availability. These visits include your scheduled appointment only; communication between visits is not included.

Many patients choose membership for ongoing support, since hormone needs often change over time.

How do I sign up?

Visit edenhealthrx.com to join our waitlist.
When we launch (anticipated January/February 2026), you’ll receive an email to schedule your initial consultation.

Membership availability will be limited, so those on the waitlist will receive priority.
